Hello all,
I first would like to say that i am new to the forums, and i apologize for any mistakes i may make. I currently have a galaxy tab 7.0 that began to act up recently. it first began a few weeks ago when the google play store would open and crash repeatedly. So i thought to just uninstall the updates for the play store. Problems solved right? well no. after this the tablet went into a frenzy of random crashes and reboots, and never getting past the boot screen. the instant app crashes extended to almost every app i had, the tablet would randomly reset its layout (put defualt widgets and things on the screen), and would get completely stuck on the loading screen. I uasully have to reboot the system up to 5 times before it will become usable. I got sick of the issue. I figured that there was something wrong with the firmware on the system, so i proceeded to factory reset the device. this is where i am stuck now. when i choose to factory reset the device, it powers off, and then reboots in recovery mode. i dont think it is supposed to do this. on top of that, when i am in recovery mode, i can choose the option to wipe the device, and factory reset. i choose this out of curiousty, and the errors come up about mounting the SD card. this happens whether the card is in or not. I rebooted, and nothing had changed. my father suggested i download the factory image and load it onto the tablet while it is in recovery mode, but given the mount issue, i havent been able to succeed. the sd card works 100% fine on any of my other phones, computers, or camera, please help me.
