Factory reset not work?

I have a motorola cliq I bought off someone back in December. About a month ago the wifi stopped working so I did a factory reset but I don't think it worked. The picture widgets I had and the sticky notes were still on the home screen after the reset. I didn't think anything of it but shouldn't it have taken everything off? Did the reset not work? My wifi still doesn't work either and tmobile says there's nothing they can do to fix it

Hello and welcome aboard. Follow the steps below and you should be good.

Please note that all data will be deleted from the Motorola CLIQ as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. Back up all of your personal data before proceeding.

1. Turn the power off. If your Motorola CLIQ is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it 2. Press and hold the Power and Camera buttons 3. Release the Camera button when prompted 4. Press and hold the Volume Down key 5. A yellow exclamation will appear on the display 6. Press and release Alt + L, and then Alt + W on the keypad All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the Motorola CLIQ. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

I hope this helps. :)
