Help Factory reset Q?

your screen should be the most that uses power... if there is anything else that uses power over top of your screen then there is an app running in the background. when you get to the Battery graph if you click on it it will show you a breakdown.

if your bent on tdoing a factory reset.... Google will backup all your contacts and photos. thats the easiest way IMO. Another way is using a program that is a free online Cloud like Dropbox , Music can be done also through google, and i believe movies as well. A 3rd way is to tether your device to your computer and pull them off that way.

but all smartphones get bad battery life, i would check the breakdown of your batter by clicking on the graph, if anything is running when the screen isnt... there is your problem. also 4g sucks battery power like a mother.

i went to use Juice defender, it is a program that doubled my battery life. you can get it free here or the Plus Here or the Ultimate Here and read its full functions here. I went with the Ultimate after taking the free for a test run and am loving it. it is FULLY customizable and runs off of schedules if you want it to. Read up on it it is crazy.

i would just connect the device to your pc and make a backup folder of your mnt/sdcard/ contents just in case they get wiped during the reset.

Thanks guys. I dont use the 4G unless Im downloading something... other than that I keep the phone in 3G. Whenm I click on the battery graph and try and de-code all those dots and stuff but is there a way to see specificly what apps are using certain amounts of power? I never had a problem with my battery untill about a week ago :/
