Help Factory reset question

So I bought a used Galaxy S3, and would like to do a factory reset. I looked it up and there are 3 ways to do it. Is there any difference to those 3 methods, maybe one way is better than the others?

if you're not rooted, just do it from within the phone's settings. that'll be your safest and easiest bet.

If you aren't rooted, all the methods are the same. If you are rooted, though, doing the reset from a custom recovery allows you to reset the phone without wiping the internal memory.

Agree, simple is good in this case- just do it from within the settings menu.
