Help Factory reset/Settings keeps stopping

I have a sonim xp8 and the settings is not accessible as it reads "settings keeps stopping". I know a factory reset will fix this but i cannot access the settings to reset the device.. any help is appreciated.

yeah i tried this many times and ot didnt work..

what happens when you try a hard reset? error message? nothing? can you power off?

i tried holding power button and up or down volume button while phone is on, and i did the same with the phone off. The phone either just turns off or restarts, by dumb luck I managed to open settings and did a factory reset but afterwards the only thing i did on start up was add my email account and the same problem occurred.

well if it keeps happening after a factory reset then something is wrong with the phone. can you bring it to your carrier? hopefully you have insurance or is eligible for an upgrade.

I found a temporary fix, I can access options through another app. Thanks for the help
