I have an Orange San Diego AZ210 and the screen is cracked. I am wanting to send it for repair as I'm not due an upgrade soon but want to reset the factory settings so my email, Facebook, Twitter etc are no longer accessible. I am unable to use the touchscreen so can't use the settings menu, how else can I reset? Having seen some forums, I have turned off the phone and then pressed the volume up and power button and after the Orange logo, I get a
droidboot logo and yellow bar at the bottom however, I've left it and nothing then happens. Please advise.

Hi

I think you have got to the hboot menu.

Use the volume rocker to select droidboot and press power button. That should get to recovery menu where you can select factory reset with vol buttons and power button

Thanks girolez. I posted the above post before I registered to the site. Unfortunately, I'm not sure whether it is something I'm doing but my phone appears to get as far as a droidboot logo/picture of a robot with a yellow horizontal line at the bottom of the screen. I've left it to see if was loading but the screen has not changed and the volume or power buttons don't do anything apart from turn the phone off if I press the power button for a prolonged period. Advice again would be much appreciated, thanks.
