Factory reset

I bought the mercury and decided to sell my ascend 2 only after I took the sd card and formatted it. I'm trying to sell it but I can't boot into recovery on a2 and won't factory reset. It just gets stuck on huawei screen when trying to boot recovery, and same thing when factory reset.

Is there any fast way to format and install stock or custom rom without rom manager, as I am pretty busy?

I am having the exact same issue and so are other people on cricketusers.com we are desperately trying to find a fix. One guy actually had to take his device back and he reported that even at the cricket store they couldnt fix it and just had to give them a new one. I am working with one of the devs working on the ICS ROM port to try and help me come up with a solution

Well my phone boots up fine and everything. I just need to find a way to factory reset everything

My phone also boots up. Just starts to go haywire when trying to run any app....
