factory reset

My HTC ONE stops on a screen on a picture of the phone with a big triangle exclamation mark.

Factory reset won't work either, keeps booting only to this screen or it hangs up the screen that says HTC quietly brilliant. Sprint keeps telling me to factory reset.

Any ideas?

Bring it into a Sprint store. When they factory reset and it doesn't help, they'll do something else. Make a phone call, look stupid, but something. No one who goes to work every day is stupid enough to hand you back a non-working phone and claim that it now works. The very worst that can happen is that they'll tell you that you'll have to pay to get it fixed, and you can always say "no".
