Factory rooted tablet???

Has anyone purchased a tablet that was factory rooted? I can't afford much for a tablet and bought one (iRulu) without knowing that it came rooted. I tried again with a different 'brand' of generic tablet (Skytex Gemini) and it came rooted too. Is there a way to unroot a factory rooted tablet? I'm new to Android and have tried googling this every way I can think with absolutely no luck. TIA!

Is there a reason that you don't wanting rooted?
I had a jailbroken iphone that bricked. I fixed it, but eventually it bricked again and there was no helping it. Can I do updates while it's rooted? I'm very new to android and I don't know enough about this stuff to mess with it...

Rooting is actually safer than Jailbreaking if you think about it. Although it probably depends on how you rooted it. You can't brick a rooted device unless you start deleting things left and right, and you can't delete anything from it unless you use a specific app. Its the flashing of ROMs that can brick your phone, not rooting.
