Help Failed to update my location - no service

I keep getting an error message every 45 seconds to a minute that says, "Failed to update my location - no service"

I am unsure why this is happening, it is rather annoying.

Any help or insight would be helpful.

Most likely, as most apps want your location for one reason or another. Is there a way to find out which app is causing this problem?

That's the tricky part. When you get the notification can you click on it? If so where does it take you?
 
No you cannot, it's really just a quick popup that has the error and then it goes away. I think I figured it out though. I uninstalled weatherbug and I havent had the problem since. I checked the running apps and it told me that weatherbug was using location services on a few different things, so I took the liberty to uninstall it.

The scenario: GPS location enabled, VZW (verizon wireless) location enabled, Google location (wi-fi) NOT enabled, and the phone is connected over Wi-Fi.

I turned off Google Location (Wi-Fi) because on some wi-fi routers it is giving the wrong location. So the apps that are looking for location data should rely on the other 2 connections. But since I'm currently connected over Wi-Fi, it has no choice but to try over GPS. The problem is that the app times out before the GPS gets its fix. If I go to Navigation, or use a GPS tool, the satellites fix in about 7 seconds, but the app kicks out before the fix.

It would be nice if the app could wait longer. Or, better yet, if the wireless location data was more reliable.
