Failure to download

Noz2k

Lurker
Hey all,

wondering if anybody can help me with this problem.

Yesterday I was sent an mms message and when I clicked to download the status changed to 'downloading' before returning an error that the message failed to download and saying 'generic network error'.

This wouldn't be a problem (somebody since sent the message via email), however I don't seem to be able to stop my phone from trying to download the message still. I have tried deleting the message, but that doesn't seemed to have worked. Every so often I still get an error message come up, and since then my mobile internet seems to have stopped worked.

I'm unsure if the two are related but it seems a bit coincidental. Any idea how to prevent my phone from trying to download this mms. Or is it just a case of waiting a few days until the message expires?

Thanks in advance,
Noz

hmm, hadn't tried that.

Have now and I get the same Unable to send message 'generic network failure'

and it also doesn't seem to want to give up trying or enable me to delete the message.

what network are you on?

I'm on T-Mobile.

My mobile internet seems to be working now, and it finally actually received the mms. I managed to stop it attempting to send the one I tried.

No idea why it took so long to come through though, and why my internet would not work in the mean time.

Have tried sending an image by email this morning, and it seems to be struggling with that too.

Any ideas?
