That has to be nailed by a rookie. It is easy to tell when you hit a stud and when you miss with a nail gun. Unfortunately, a stud and a drain pipe feel a lot alike. Don't ask....

I've seen roof to ground icicle when growing up but never inside the house. That's ugly!

My guess is that’s the result of a power outage; pipes freeze and than burst, with that frozen “waterfall.”

I was hired to go back to an unsold house that I had trimmed to use the garage as a workshop for some project the builder had. I pulled up and there was water running out from under the garage door. I went into the house and water was cascading down the stairs from the second floor like a waterfall. I had to shut the water off at the meter because the basement was completely filled with water. Talk about a mess! It wasn't frozen.

I've heard enough EMT being hit. Feels the same, but sounds soooo different.
A few jobs I've done I had to turn around and give the framer gaff for hitting it. Thankfully the power was shut down at the time.

I had to stop laughing before I could respond. That guy stood up looking like a bewildered skunk .....

Hopefully he learned a lesson without physical injury. I've seen some career altering accidents from sliding ladders.
