Failures

I read it as the change returned to the customer. They are owed a penny but are given a nickel.
Yah that makes more sense ... NOW !

I recognize that this fail is more aligned with grammar aficionados, and I offer it here only because the source is the NYT, which as a bastion of journalism should catch such things. It's an article discussing how multiple airlines were affected by storm predictions in the NY area, but their writer and editors apparently struggle with the malady of where to properly place the apostrophe. In this case they meant plural, but used singular.

Sheesh, the spammer thief even labels their message as from a trusted sender to try and dupe you.

I'll vote for anyone who promises to hunt these people down and lock them away for at least five years for any knowing part in propagating this crap. Heck, I might even contribute to their campaign!

Have you ever tried to follow the trail to see where it was sent from. I've seen them sent from India, Africa, Columbia, and more.

I get them ALL THE TIME. It's humorous in a way, because at no time is the specific "cloud storage" ever identified. I look at the header details to see the actual sender's location and they come from all over the world: sometimes from gibberish domains, sometimes from legitimate, hacked domains. I just block the entire domain. I'm with @rootabaga on this one: isn't Interpol still a thing? Why isn't a team of investigators and law enforcement hunting down these scumbags? They could make something of themselves if they put as much effort into real, meaningful work as they do scamming people (like my naive stepmother, who - of course - freaked out and called the number to pay the bill for her "cloud storage"... even though she has no idea what "cloud storage" even is...).
