Fake s4 battery?

So i ordered a s4 battery from the Samsung authorized repair centre in New Zealand (Samsung referred me to them) and the battery just arrived. The nfc looks a little different i can see the bumps of where it is and the layput on the new battery for the coil is not the same. Below i have pictures of the batteries original on the left, new on the right. Anything here ring alarm bells or should it be ok from the Samsung parts store that Samsung referred me to.

Battery drain isn't quite as bad now but it drains 10% overnight and it drained 5% playing 1 asphalt 8 race. Overall has drained 38% in 11hrs 30mins should I calibrate the battery?

No need to calibrate batteries these days just charge it over night, every night, for a week or two and it will be OK.

Just as u where saying that. The battery was draining at a slow enougth rate I was at 40% and then an app froze and I had to restart my phone because no buttons worked except sleep/wake. After the restart it was at 22%.

Don't panic!
You'll see that figure rise again slowly.
So in the end it stayed at 1% for 15 mins or so. Then died. Usually i can restart it and get another 30 seconds before it force shuts down. This time though it cuts out while displaying the s4 logo screen so its defiantly at 0%. I do hope that didn't damage it

No chance.
Any rechargeable battery requires conditioning before it works properly.
Things like car batteries are conditioned before they leave the factory but not phone batteries.
Have faith and give it a week or two, plug in and charge over night every night.
As for the frozen app, if it happens repeatedly you might want to consider an alternative.
Here's some light reading about lithium ion batteries.

Thanks dude. Will do. If strange behavior continues I'll just return it under its 3 month warrenty.

Unfortunately the battery is continuing to run very poorly, ive tried multiple roms with no difference.

If in doubt, take the battery to a Samsung Service Point and they will run a free check for you.

I brought it from a Samsung authorized repair centre. As soon as i suggested the battery life was not as expected they tried to get me to bring the now rooted and knox voided phone in with me as "it seems its not just the battery". What a load of bs hell im not letting them find out its knox voided. And all they want is to supposedly repair it when it doesnt need it and the battery is the issue just for more money, instead of honoring the battery warrenty
