Fascinate, DInc, or D2G?

I'm about to get my first smartphone and I'm having a really hard time deciding which one I want. I absolutely want an android phone, but I can't pick which of the cons of each one would be easier to deal with XP

D2G: Fast processor, newest of the bunch, great for if/when I study abroad, Motorola has a good track record with product quality. Hardware keyboard is nice, but not a must for me. Apparently the supplied battery doesn't last more than 6 or 7 hours, and even with the extended battery and extremely conservative settings it doesn't usually get past about 15.

DInc: Still among the top of the line with Verizon, even after over 8 months on the market. Reliable software, reliable manufacturer, looks good, lots of good reviews about it. While battery life is better than the D2G, I've still heard it doesn't like to last a full day, and that's a little bit of a problem when I physically can't get to a charger all the time.

Fascinate: Great screen, fast processor, I've heard good things about the battery. I'd probably be rooting it, so Bing and 2.1 don't bother me too much because I'd be getting rid of them ASAP. I'm a little wary of the GPS, but looking over in the Fascinate forums apparently there's a pretty easy fix for it. But I've also heard it has other signal issues.

If I could get some thoughts on the three that would be awesome :]

My choice came down to DInc and FASC. I went with the FASC mainly because the size was between the DINC and DX and it is one of the newer phones and has a gorgeous display. Since the change to sLCD screen on the DINC it is just as nice as the FASC (to my eye). Some say the DINC has sharper text and there are web pages that show the difference but it's not anything I can notice even zoomed way in.

I have had it about 2 weeks and really like it. The Bing thing is not a big a deal to me as some do. I have Dolphin browser set to Google home page and have that in my Dock at the bottom of the screen and on one of my home pages. I also have a Google widget on a couple of my home pages. For voice commands I use Vlingo which defaults to Google.

To me the videos on the FASC look a little better just because the screen goes closer to the edge of the device.

I use LauncherPro premium which has a really nice Google search Widget. LauncherPro also lets you 'hide' apps you don't use. Android 2.2 is supposed to allow remapping the search softkey to something other than Bing.

This is my first smart phone and I'm having a blast trying out apps and getting the hang of Swype.

Keep in mind that the DINC has about the worst battery life of any phone. I'm getting about 1 to 2 days on it but i'm a light user except of listening to Pandora for a couple of hours a day.

The GPS does not lock-on very quickly but I'm not having the major delays that some have.

I really don't have a complaint that makes me regret getting the FASC.

I actually chose the incredible over the fascinate mostly due to screen size and I like the htc sense ui better than touch wiz. I moved from a samsung phone and I just am not a touch wiz fan. I liked that the incredible needed less done out of the box to make it usuable. Though I did second guess my decision because there are things I liked about both phones.
Ultimately for me the size of the phone was the major deciding factor.

I might edge it with the D2G here, although I have no experience with it, and only tried the Droid 2 on displays. Personally I own the Droid Incredible, and it lives up to its name. Except the battery life part. But it truly is incredible.

The other con of the Incredible is that its kind of built like a cheap Nokia, yes it reminds me of the Nokia 5800 in body build. But its thin.

The things going for the Droid 2 Global is that the D2 generally has the highest satisfaction rate and lowest return rate among Verizon smartphones. The metallic body build feels classier than the DI's plastic and rubber feel. My DI has the OLED screen, so its colors are brighter, but the pentile screen doesn't make it as sharp as the D2. In any case, your impressions may differ as many DI's are now using the SLCD screen which looks sharper. Also the D2 uses Gorilla Glass but HTC maybe using something similar. The D2 also has more battery management options. But note the D2's UI isn't as nice as HTC Sense, but you can always install ADWLauncher, Launcher Pro or Modaco's Gingerbread launcher, or other UI launchers like Slidescreen. Having the keyboard on the D2 is also an advantage.

So its a good race between the D2G and the DI, but the D2G has more of the edge. The CPU on the D2G is also 200Mhz faster, doesn't feel as hot as the DI's (thanks to new 45 nanometer build process), and the GPU would bench faster, giving it an edge on game frame rates.

And let's not forget. The D2G has GSM for roaming during travels, while the DI can't do anything unless you got a CDMA network around.
