Fastbooted Moto G Stylus

Oops, I did it again. Something did, anyway. The only decent thing about it is that I can scroll through the options this time. What should I choose, recovery mode? What do I do after that? Will I lose any data, or accidentally do a factory reset?

Does somebody know the anatomy of a crimebook? I have to figure which key is control. It's not as if they would mark these things to make it easy. If I can find that, how do I force it into developer mode?

Well, I guess I figured out the darn thing. I had to use guest because I don't know the lousy password. How do I get around that? Meanwhile, I went to XDA and found minimal adb + fastboot, only they aren't compatible because they're windows versions. It seems I have to use this crosh to make it happen. Any advice about this would be appreciated.

Ok, in crosh I typed shell and got the $. Then I typed adb. I guess it's there, but how do I use ir? How do I plug in the Stylus, get it recognized, and then get the phone out of fastboot?

This is the most I've ever gotten done with a crimebook. I plugged the Stylus in and it says start. It's blinking. I guess that corrosion in the usb port doesn't matter much. What the heck do I do now?

I looked up some adb commands. For example, adb devices lists what's connected. It doesn't show anything. How do I make the Stylus get noticed?

It says it might be good to update the driver. How do I do that? I found device in the lower left but it's useless.
