fastest internet

[finalfantasy7]

when I use my standard internet (not WiFi) it has shown me 3 different numbers and letters, just wondering what they mean, what's the fastest and around what speed do each supposedly run at, they are;

1. h
2. 3g
e. g

[sitlet]

3g is wireless internet from your provider. 1x is also from your provider, but slower, you may see this if you have a weak signal. I've never seen H before. G could be wifi, as in 802.11g

[landovr]

H= High speed
3g= Normal speed
g= Slow speed

In very basic terms.

[Ngo93]

1 is hspa which is like 4g you could say (a lot of people say its 3.5g)
2 is just your regular speedy 3g internet
3 is a speed slower then edge i believe, someone correct me if im wrong

[Ngo93]

ah landovr said it better than me XD

[finalfantasy7]

thank you, I thought 3g would.have been the fastest, just. furious as when i use my provider internet it always been on h or g,
never been 1x

anyway thanks

You're furious that you're getting better than 1x?
