Not the same i feel the difference, here is something funny. I had the batt mod and xloud/bravia combo installed, and noticed all i would get is missed calls. apparently all my calls would go straight to voicemail, the phone would never ring/vibrate show a incoming call. Also i wouldn't get texts right away there was a 1-2 hr lag. I called my carrier to see if it was a network problem but it seems the settings in the phone were unbalanced. SO.......wiped clean tried it again, works fine now (never called the carrier back) BUT whatever I do i can't get the damn batt mod to work, installs fine but just doesn't show..... whatever i can do without......
You feel the difference huh? Alrighty then.....I have all that and then some and still don't have the issues you're having. For my batt mod you don't just install flash it, you have to manually mount data/system before flashing it, then it will show up.

When my battery reaches 15% I get a pop-up saying '0% battery remaining connect charger' an yesterday I unplugged at 6.30am an by 2pm I was on 8% an I didn't text call anyone an wireless and GPS was off, how do I recalibrate my battery? An do you have the link so for all the stuff you have got please? Thank-you
Yep, time to recalibrate.

Charge your phone to 100%
While still connected to the charger, reboot into xRec and go to advanced options and pick "wipe battery stats" and reboot....as soon as you select reboot, unplug the charger.
Do not charge the phone again until the battery has lost all power. I always try to use mine as little as possible during that time, but if you have to, you have to.
Once the phone dies, charge it back up to 100% WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. Your battery is now recalibrated.

If you experience the same problem as before, after you do this process, you likely need a new battery.

go here for all the files: [ROM] Wolfs TW Gingerbread | Feel the difference | V6 out | 17/9/2011 - xda-developers Your battery could improve with the above Rom, install it and get it running if it is still the same I would replace my battery.
Easy tiger! How about if he tries recalibrating it first....flashing a rom can cause issues itself (ridiculous battery drain being one of them) so he should not go that route until he finds out if his battery just needed to be recalibrated or is infact in need of replacement.

i have recalibrated the battery only time will tell tomorrow when i use it. but the rom is still very slow and lagging. for instance when typing a text message it is so far behind. if i re flashed the rom back on again or another one and dont wipe battery stats will that be ok? thank you

Sure, u only need to wipe batt stats if u notice ur batt isnt reading properly. Alot of people suggest wiping them each time u flash a rom but ive found through trial and error that its simply not necessary.

I also moved to v6 on the custom kernal, and installed most of the add on stuff. One thing I did do is a battery calibration. Which helped a ton. For some reason it does not come with master cpu any more. So I downloaded "no frills cpu" and experimented with the over clock. I am getting quadrent scores (not that they mean anything) over 1300. But the phone is super smooth, and zero lag. My battery also goes the whole and only drains about 40%

i dont no what my battery will be like till i use it tomorrow but the v6.0.0s rom seems so laggy. i have not put no add ons, on yet but will hopefully do that tomorrow. what settings are you using for no frills cpu? ill set it up an see if it makes any difference to the performance of the phone. thank you

I'm not sure how long you played with it but let me shed some light:

When you first flash a rom, the first boot will take forever and the phone will be a little laggy from time to time as the system is building it's database.

Rebooting the phone 2-3 times after a fresh install expedites the process, but you still need to let the rom settle for 1-2 days before expecting ideal performance.

Also, flashing some mods can break some tweaks in the rom so aside from the rom itself, did you flash anything else to the phone?

I dunno man, this rom has been fast for me since I first flashed v3, v6 got even faster due to the init.d scripts so I'd say if yours is laggy then u should reflash the rom. Are you even sure you're on v6.0 and rooted? Reason I ask is cause the first time I tried getting wb on my phone I somehow flashed the full rom via flashtool instead of just the kernel, so I thought I was rooted and had the wb rom but it was actually just the stock 2.3.3 unrooted. Of course I didnt know that right away but when I couldnt see mybackup*root in the market I realized something was up. I went through the process again and then realized I had the wrong file for my firmware in flashtool. I got the right file, completed the process and its been on ever since!

why is it i seem to be the only person who finds wolfbreak v6.0.0s slow and laggy? not only is it slow opening apps, when i type the text seems to be 4/5 seconds behind and then you have got to wait for it to catch up. any other roms anyone can suggest for me to try out? ino i seem to be going on but i seem to be the only person who says its slow. thanks

Don't you think that's a sign, if you're the only one saying it's slow and laggy out of thousands of people? Don't get me wrong, others have said it's slow too, but that's because they flashed something that overwrote some of the included tweaks.

I know the stock version of his rom has about 5 or 6 governors built in which you can select via cpu apps like cpu master and others like it. I personally don't have any cpu app installed on my phone, have lots of mods/tweaks flashed to it and even without selecting a higher performing governor my phone is noticeably faster than with the stock GB firmware. Scrolling is faster, opening apps is faster, no music lag/skips, video playback is lovely, and it's very smooth all around too. I don't get any WLOD's, no FC's, everything works like it should......Nope, i'm lying...the camera doesn't rotate to portrait mode unless I press one of the volume buttons. But other than that, everything is smooth, fast and stable, battery life is excellent....i'm over 28hrs of use right now and still have 50% battery left.

The only time I had a problem with this WB rom was when I updated to v3.8....but damn near everybody had a problem with v3.8, aside from that one, everything has been wonderful. I have broken my root a couple times, APN settings got messed up once, I got a non-stop FC when trying to install a phonebook/contact tweak, market would FC on me anytime I'd try to d/l anything....but all of these things were user error, except for the APN thing, I have no idea how that happened. But anytime I encountered a problem that I couldn't easily fix, I simply did a fresh install and all problems were fixed.

If you want to give up on the rom, that's on you, but I truly believe that there's something in your install that didn't happen quite right. But try another rom if you think that'll fix your problems, I hope it does. But if it doesn't, I think you should start all over again, from square 1. Get stock 2.1 back....root it....update to stock 2.3....root it....flash the .71 kernel/baseband and flash the 2.3 rom of your choice
