FastNotePad finds files on SD card but will not save changes?

V2.0.9.

Worked ok using my Note 8's built-in SD memory, but when I changed "Storage Location" to /storage/22E3-F036/Note8/Lists (which in on my external SD card), it brought up a file list a-ok, and opened files as expected, but when I edit a file, the changes are not saved.

Anybody else been here? Maybe something w/Android 9's permissions?

samsung notes works really well. not sure why you are using fastnotes. i have never heard of it. been using samsung notes since my days with the note 4. its probably an issue with the app. have you tried asking the developers?

Also, your current app may need permission to read/write to the SD card.

Check your app's settings page, and be sure that Storage and Files & Media permissions and anything like that is allowed.
