Singer Roberta Flack has died at 88; no cause of death was noted, but she had been diagnosed with ALS a few years ago.

RIP, Ms. Flack, and thanks for sharing your talents. Condolences to your family, friends, fans and loved ones.

As a father I will say that broke my heart. My daughter is twelve i think the same age as the first girl in the video
 
Actress Michelle Trachtenberg has died at 39; a cause of death is pending, and no criminality is suspected. Way too young.

I was shocked too, I was looking up her death.

Gene Hackman, 95, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 64, were found dead in their home in New Mexico on Feb. 26, along with their dog. Carbon monoxide poisoning is suspected.
 
Gene Hackman was a legend. Loved everything he did, probably.
Our parents early mid life crises in their forties took us all to the cinema for The Poseidon Adventure in '72.

His last few movies seemed very recent to me, but apparently not. (Runaway Jury was 2003 in his 70's but he didn't look it)

I hope they solve the events around this double tragedy. Rest in Peace both.

Texas Rep. Sylvester Turner, who was just elected to congress last November (and is the former mayor of Houston), passed away unexpectedly Tuesday at the age of 70. No cause of death was noted, though he was diagnosed with cancer in 2022.

RIP, Mr. Turner, with condolences to your constituents, friends, family and loved ones.
