Fatalities 2025

I have zero connections to the Drag Queen world so I hadn’t noticed this one, on Jan. 5 “The Vivienne” (UK star) died at the age of 32 from cardiac arrest brought on by Ketamine use/abuse.

Condolences to his fans, friends, family and loved ones. Whatever pain he was trying to mask with Ketamine, may he RIP.

Mr. Kilmer was an excellent actor who was well known for being difficult to work with. He expected the most of himself and poured himself into his characters and apparently expected that from everyone else on the set. Still, no one can dispute that his performances were excellent.

RIP, Mr. Kilmer, and thank you for sharing your talents. Condolences to your fans, friends, family and loved ones.

I did a browse after your first comment :

BBC News - Val Kilmer: A brilliant, underrated and unpredictable film star
Val Kilmer obituary: A difficult man but a brilliant actor

Excerpt :

"In 2014, Kilmer was diagnosed with throat
cancer.
Chemotherapy and radiation left him with a
tube in his trachea and difficulty breathing.
As a Christian Scientist, Kilmer had mixed
views about seeking medical interventions and
at times ascribed physical improvements to
the power of prayer rather than medicine. On
occasion, he denied he had cancer at all."

Keep in mind, a Christian Scientist is NOT the same thing as a Scientologist.
I meant to say personally that I think we understood that now, that he was a Christian Scientist unlike eg Tom Cruise; but there did happen to be some similarity with attitudes to medical "help". I'm not too fond of medics myself for different reasons.
Everyone has their own experiences of course, and Val Kilmer had been through a lot physically since 2014.
