Fatalities 2025

Just a few days ago I was mentioning her song "Brand New Key" to my wife, though I don't recall the circumstances. I hadn't realized "Look What They've Done to my Song" was hers as well. I'd also never heard her last name until this thread.
RIP, Melanie. Condolences to your fans, friends, family and loved ones. Thanks for sharing your talents.

One of the her songs that was not popular that was on the LP Good Book was The Saddest Thing
And the saddest thing under the sun above
Is to say goodbye to the ones you love
All the things that I have known
Became my life, my very own
But, before you know you say goodbye
All the time goodbye, it's time to cry
But I will not weep nor make a scene
I'm gonna say, thank you, thank you life for having been
And the loudest cry under the sun above
Is the silent goodbye from one you love
But I will not weep nor make a scene
I'm gonna say, thank you life for having been
and the saddest thing under the sun above
Is to say goodbye to the ones you love

Almost 16 years after retiring from the SCOTUS, former Justice David Souter has died at 85.

RIP, your honor, and thanks for your judicial acumen. Condolences to your friends, family and loved ones.

I just learned that former child actress Sophie Nyweide died on April 14. They're still investigating her cause of death; she was just 24.

RIP, Ms. Nyweide, with thanks for sharing your talents. Condolences to your fans, friends, family and loved ones.

One of my favorite shows of all times. Very well written and acted. It captured the chemistry that a successful bar has. It's entertaining to check in weekly on the the place where everybody knows your name. Great show. Thank you George Wendt for being an integral part of the cast that made the show so darn entertaining.

I remember people freaking out when they found out Shelley Long would not be returning and Kirstie Alley would be coming in to basically replace her under a different character name. Turns out, in my opinion anyway, Kiriste Alley was a better fit for the show. Especially when communicating back and forth with the Sam Malone ( Ted Danson ) character.

The same could be said when Woody Harrelson took over for Coach, but Coach had passed away so they had to replace him with somebody. Woody had huge shoes to fill, but did a fantastic job.
