Fatalities - 2026

Chuck Negron, one of the founding members of Three Dog Night, has died (apparently of heart failure) at 83.

TDN was one of my favorite bands as I hit high school, and though I don't listen to much secular music nowadays, just hearing the name caused to begin flooding my mind.

RIP, Mr. Negron, and thank you for some great music. Condolences to your fans, friends, family and loved ones.

Seeing my reply again I realize that statement was false. I saw Steppenwolf twice as well and spaced that off when typing the above. The point is, I held 3 Dog Night in high regard. Such high regard that when I ran across an old concert poster in my shed a few years back, I brought it in for better storage. Being poor I first ushered for concerts and later placed posters about town for a nominal income and a couple of free tickets. Check the price... I was working for peanuts :)

Ed "Isky" Iskenderian passed life's finish line yesterday at 104. Everyone who loves motorsports (or just the sound of a "cammy" engine) owes him a moment or two of silence.

Brad Arnold singer and song writer of the band three doors down on February 7th 2026 after batting cancer. Rest in peace and thanks for the music.
In a interview he was asked how they came up with the band name, he said that they had been toying with different options and one day they were at some venue and asked where an individual was that they were supposed to meet , someone said oh their three doors down, Brad said they paused looked at each, and knew their band name three doors down

Rondale Moore, an NFL receiver who was a standout at Purdue but suffered knee injuries in each of the last two years after being traded in 2024 by the Arizona Cardinals, apparently took his own life yesterday. His death remains under investigation, but no foul play is suspected. He was just 25.

RIP, Mr. Moore, and thanks for sharing your talents. Your time here was all-too-brief and I'm sorry you couldn't find some help when you needed it. Condolences to your fans as well as your friends, family and loved ones; these latter folks will take it especially hard.
