Been watching his appearances on Letteman. Dave was the only one after Carson to be able to just let Don go.

You know, I might just watch it myself.. Just to put that movie into some sort of personal perspective: I had a massive VHS collection. I bought one of the first players out and invested heavily in movies that I liked. When it came time to basically toss them and replace with DVD's I only replaced movies that I enjoy watching numerous times. They take up less than one shelf space of many shelves that once housed my VHS tapes. I do have Kelly's Heroes on DVD. Crapgame is just part of the chemistry of that movie that I so enjoy.
 
You know ... I'm beginning to hate seeing this thread pop-up in my watched list. :(

I read his book last year. He had a rough life, managed to pull himself out of the gutter and make a name of his own in the comedy business, though most people know him only through the Dave Chappelle skits.

Charlie was on Dave Chappelle's show which became an instant classic and Charlie was in some very memorable sketches (See the Rick James sketch on YouTube). Charlie was also on the Comedy Get Down Tour with Cedric the Entertainer, George Lopez, D.L. Hughley and Eddie Griffin. These guys are huge in the stand up comedy field.
 
Some off topic posts deleted. The thread is about actual, physical deaths of celebrities. Career implosions are a whole other topic with potential overlap (provided self induced career ending faux pas results in death, but that is a bit dark for my taste).

Anyway, real or fake celebrities but certainly real deaths. Seem fair? :)
