Father's Day Rebate Question

When I bought my HTC One S through T-Mobile on Father's Day weekend, I wasn't aware that I needed to have a 5gb data plan to receive the offered rebate. The form must be postmarked by tomorrow to count for the offer. I have a 2gb plan at the moment, but would it be possible to switch to the 5gb plan until my rebate goes through? Or would I have had to purchase it with this plan for that to work?

Have you tried calling T-Mobile about this?

My form isn't handy... I have to ask my wife where she stashed our copy of the form when we sent it in.

There is a gotcha on there and I think it was that you had to have the 5GB plan at the time they processed the rebate.
I will try to post back as soon as I get my hands on it and can read the language on the form.

I don't want to get your hopes up.... but I know for sure there was a gotcha and you had to have specific rate plans to qualify.

As long as you have the 5gb plan on there at the time they check to see eligibility you are eligible for the rebate. In fact you can even lower it once you get your money back. Also, you have to be on an unlimited plan as well. I work for Tmobile and have had the same problem with many customers I see come into the store.
