A great app for me is "mysms" which allows me to text from my PC.
I've been using Airdroid and MightyText for this.

LBE is a great app to limit any apps ability by permission. By far my favorite, can't live without app.
Can't locate this in the market. Does it have a full name?

It doesnt work with Jelly Bean, there is a version on another site that is translated and works very well with Jelly Bean. LBE Security Master is what that one is called.
I did that for a week and went back to Solid Explorer and paid the $2... have it on 2 devices, so that's only $1 each. Same thing happened with FX explorer, I had been using that for 6 months and they decided to take away all the good stuff... it got me trying others and landing on SE. I keep trying ES, but keep finding something I don't like.
I have the full version, and I keep going back to an old version of Astro!
I just find Astro much simpler to use. At first, I thought the dual panels of Solid would be nice, but I don't find the controls and commands intuitive. With Astro, long presses bring up menus, and it is a simple process to cut/copy/move/paste/rename. I also like the backup features of Astro. I use Root Explorer when I need to change permissions and stuff like that, but I really like Astro. Using it since the release of my OG Droid 1. November 2009....
I haven't used ES enough to give a comment on....
