boy what a clever spam. the only “portal is for kids stuff and probably youtube links. The are only 3 rates since Jan 2013- most are 1's

Just completed analysis on several email apps ; about to take on weather apps. Anyone got a list of weather apps they've used (pro or con)? I've not used these much and want to get some feedback -outside of "The Market"

Also, I am looking for a radar type app that's got a nice interface and zip code or street level capable
 
Hello all,

I want to prevent myself from using certain apps for a certain amount of time like I can on my computer using Temptation Blocker. It really lets me get things done. Are their any Apps that prevent me from using other Apps for a set time limit that I set?

Seriously? Wow! Seems kinda like locking your money in a safe so you can't spend it... Yet you have the combination. If you really want to use the apps, Temptation Blocker isn't really stopping you. I don't know of any like that for Android.

I agree. Actually the restriction would make ME want it more! I have seen ads on tv for a kindal where parents set time limits for kids....but of course it works.....as long as the kid aint big enough to beat the code out of the parent...

Honestly,

This program has helped me stay on track and help me get some things done. I hope I can find something like this for Android

I use Radar Now.

It's not street capable, it does show radar stations and those are for area coverage.
Check with Frisco, I tried the one he was using - it was pretty good too but I just don't recall the name.

I really like the Weather Bug PRO app. The radar in the app can zoom in to seeing my house. It also includes a simple regional Radar Widget that I keep on my home screen.

This app is really valuable to me as I ride a motorcycle.
 
Did I read about this app here? Iike it and the shortcut to your device lists all of the apps you rate as favs OUTSIDE the influence of GooglePlay.

Plus you get to read others comments thats not driven by GooglePlay's "controlled-best-rate-first" format.

My favorite app so far is Orbot, with transparent proxy of course! :D

There's a few others like Candy Crush (stupid addicting game) and ifont. ;)
 
I'm sure I sound rude. But I wish this thread would stick to the discussion of apps. I'm subscribed to this thread and lately I get notifications only to find out it's basically a private conversation between two people.

Edited to add some fave apps:
Ninja SMS - to make sure text from fave contacts don't get lost or ignored. They show up as pop-up

Mighty Text It makes it easy to text using my computer but it shows up on your phone history

Its also a place to say a quick hello. I dont see any harm in that. Mostly such one on ones are about an app suggestion or two.... see? You and me having a short "hey" :D. In addition of being androdian brother and sister, we're practical neighbors too! I see you are in Crosby. Houston here! You see?!?


My fav currently is: CHROMECAST and WAITING on a dongle plugin....I hope "maybe" theres some chat here in fav apps about CHROMECAST....Else feel free to click the Netflix link in my siggy to discuss additional CHFOMECAST fav app and dongle experiences.
