Is there a way to have the favorite contacts widget that the razr comes with (i'm assuming its a uniform widget) to show more than 4 contacts without pulling them down to show the grid of 20?

Its a Razr widget. Meaning it would be for use only on the Blur Launcher in the Razr. You can try checking out other contact widgets available in the market.
