Any way to make a shortcut directly to favorite contacts or make favorites default view in contacts?

I want a shortcut to the entire favorite contacts list. Not a particular Person.

I currently have found my self swiping right from the stock sms message list. I do love that feature.

Can't you just create a folder on home screen and put your favs in it?

I think there is Android Pro Widgets, or something like that.

I don't do it exactly that way but I like my way better.

I got used to the people widget in sense, then in Launcher Pro. Now that I don't use LP any more I grabbed Android Pro Widgets (APW) and use their people widget set to show "starred in android". Now I have a scrollable widget with contact pics right there on the home screen. APW also has a killer calendar widget if you like widgets.

Sorry I didn't provide a solution for exactly what you want to do but it took me a week or so to figure this out so I thought it might help.

If you just want it to take up one icon you could do a folder with direct dial shorcuts. Sounds like a lot of time to me though.

agree with sahara above....make a simple folder & populate it with people widgets of your favorites.
