Favorite defaults not working

For some reason my favorite defaults are not working. For instance I set up my friend's mobile as the favorite, yet it dials her home number.
Does anyone know how to reset this? I have several contacts that are experiencing the same problem.

Make sure that the number you want to call is the default number. I think go into the person contact then settings and It should be there.

I went through, removed them and then added them back.

Go into people and hold your finger on the number and wait for the screen to poop up to choose if you want to make it the default number.
