FB for Android

Hello all, I just got my Infuse 4G. I have found that my facebook app is not very fast in loading compared to my twitter. Has anyone else had this problem with this slow running app? This app needs to be updated and running a little faster.

Yeh--never had good luck with the FB app. I usually end up getting tired of waiting on it and I go through the browser.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for the official FB app to get better - it's been updated quite a lot, and if anything it's getting worse! I'd stick with the mobile site (with email notifications enabled) or Friendcaster if I were you.

The FB app loads in just a few seconds. You just have to be careful because it is a disk hog. Look at yous app manager and see how much data it is taking up. Should only be a few MB. However, it just keeps growing and growing, over 20MB last time I checked and almost filled up all of my internal storage. Every couple of weeks you need to clear all of the FB data, and the app will run, loading in about 3 seconds, each time. I don't have a real powerful phone, so if I can do this, you all with more modern phones should be able to fly.
