Hi,
Newcomer here. Just got my HTC legend with Crazy John's (Australia).
I like this phone. However, I have had some serious issues with reception, 3G connection and apps.
I was not getting any coverage on the Legend. My wife's LG Optimus One (on same network was getting 2-3 bars). Contacted the support centre and they asked me to switch the phone to GSM only mode and upgrade to Froyo. Did both and now I am getting 2 bars (most of the time).
The only thing is that after I have switched to the 'GSM only' mode, I have not been able to get 3G internet connection. I can only get 'E'. So none of the apps and email accounts can sync (timeout). Is there a solution for this?
Also I had downloaded a few apps. These are showing as 'installed' in the market. However, they do not show up on my phone. I have connected my phone after the factory reset and done a 'sync'. Am I missing anything else?
Any help would be much appreciated.
