Help Fierce won't turn on (Update on info)

I had been using my phone all day long and i was on my way home and the phone battery was at 1%. It ended up dying so when i got home i tried charging it but it won't turn on? i already tried Power + up & down volume and the boot settings come on so i know the screen isn't dead. Any suggestions? Also the charging light is on and stays on.

stay on the charger more than 4 hours-it works for me

The phone will not turn on until it gets a little bit of a charge. Do what xondrax mentioned and you should be alright.
