File Path issue in Android App.

So I got my Nexus 7 32Gig today and like it a lot. I'm a writer really and so needed an app to get my writing. I downloaded Writer which lets you type away. It saves the app you are working on automatically in a folder in storage. The interface on the app gives no option to save or delete your work. I suspect I have to get into the folder in which the document is saved.

I hooked my tablet to my pc and downloaded the drives, and got inside the external storage but the file I wanted is nowhere to be seen.

According to the Writer app the document is saved in the following file path:

/storage/emulated/0/Writer/myfile.txt

I cannot find this file anywhere.

Please respond in plain language if you can, I'm no expert with tech jargon/

;)

We use Writer a bit to test our Magic Keyboard app.

I would have a look in /mnt/sdcard/Writer

That's where it saves files on our test phones, at least.
