Recently, I went on a hike with some friends and took some pictures and videos but when they used Airdrop to share files, I was unable to send or receive any with them. I tried to search for an app on the playstore and on google to see if something would work. Most apps required that the program had to be installed on the iphone and android and/or the devices had to be connected to the same wifi. Airdrop between apple devices doesn't require this. My phone has a similar file sharing function but it has to be within android devices that are back-to-back. I am asking if there is an app that makes my device discoverable to receive files without wifi to Apple devices when Airdrop is used without the Apple user having to download another app. Thank you in advance
