Hi, I am struggling to connect my Samsung Galaxy S5 to my wife's Xperia Z2 - She can send me files - "share" - "DLNA" through her phone and detect it, but mine wont even pick hers up through "quick connect" only will detect my wireless printer. I have tried other connections like "S-Beam" and "Android Beam" but these dont work either. "Wi-Fi Direct" wont pick it up. Any help would be grateful. Thanks

S Beam and Android Beam works via NFC. Your wife needs to have NFC enabled on her phone to use Android Beam with you.

WiFi Direct works weirdly when phones have differing brands. You may need to download SuperBeam to use WiFi Direct with another brand.

Its all switched on, on both devices, thats what i dont get. She can send me files, but my samsung s5 wont even detect her phone at all.

NFC means you need to touch the devices together. Not really sure how DLNA transfer works on Samsung since I don't usually use it.
