I have been looking around and have seen many file systems used on phones. yafs, etx#, rfs, and the list goes on. How many of you have tried to use another FS to open up a feature on a ROM?

I haven't heard of a file system have features others don't but there is performance differences with each. Try them out and see which works best depending on what your kernel supports

Well you know like ext3/4 has jernalling, fat is widely compatable, that's what I mean. As well as the performance.

Yeah, I meant That I didn't hear of any In Rom Feature advantages. To answer your previous question I myself use Ext3 on my Evo V I feel that it makes my Phone a bit smoother compared to the default Ext4 File System. :)

That's good to know. If I get this Evo 3D that my friend broke I would like to look into what I can do with FUSE. I think that it could be a way to maximize the space on the phone.

If you do get a 3D take a look at my Rom "Mobster Remix" I managed to squeeze a 400+MB Rom down to 267MB
