Hi,
There are similar topics but no one helps.
The file transfer with usb is way too slow, and sometimes just impossible.
Why is that? How can I fix this ?
airdroid or kies air is not a solution for me. It doesn't work with folders, or with lots of files.
Thanks,
Patrick

I've found that the easiest solution is an USB-OTG cable and a thumb drive.
Otg cable connects to the phone's micro USB port and "thumb" drive is those lil USB flash drives that plug into your PC, TV etc. Some people call them "pen" drives
Myself, i use a UHS Micro SD card in the phone and a cheap USB card-read/writer for the pc![]()
USB-OTG is a cable that cannot connect to the pc.
Why is that?!?
What do you mean by thumb drive ?
Thats a great idea man. Somethin like that could actualy sway me to buy a Nexus device(if i had the cash lol)
Funnily enough im maybe gona ask my mum (im 37 lol) for a Nexus 7 for xmasim worried about my s3 if i do though lol.. i basicly use my s3 as a tablet justnow so it will probably get neglected badly and just used as a..... phone

Not USB, but AirDroid is a great WiFi alternative to file transfer
AirDroid is a great Wifi alternative, as long as it's not too many files or too large, otherwise it can take a long time.
