Finally a UPNP player that works!

UPnPlayer in the Market. Yesterday I installed this on my D2 and was able to stream music and video to my D2. Having had several beers I was feeling quite optomistic so I installed on my Xoom. It wouldn't start but I saw things being enumerated on the screen under the "Failure to start" message. So I opened another beer and wrote the developer a message. He responded within minutes and after several exchanges of log files and "fixed" apk files it WORKS!

You will need to download a third party video player but it does work! Music also.

That's awesome, thanks for the info! I don't care if it's 3rd party or not, really. In fact, I switched to Android from webOS not because anything in Android is particularly great, but because the apps I need are on the platform. So this is good news all around.

Yes that be the puppy. If Android had a fully baked cut & paste I would have supplied a URL.

Don't forget you'll need a viable third party player. I verify it works with Rockplayer.
