finally brought my first android, fascinate

hi guys, got my fascinate, superb handset and loving it.Am currently on 2.2.1.
there are certain icons, widgets and screens i am looking for, do post links where do i search them.I have battery usage % widget, can i replace that on my main battery icon on upper side of display rather then having as a widget on home screen.

guys i am facing this weird issue with my picture album gallery, there are certain albums which i want to delete from my handset, when i go to gallery and click to delete images, it asks me to choose images, which then i choose my albums and check the box, i dont get back that delete option, dont know why, if i go back then again i get delete option and again asks the same thing, and when checkiing box to delete i again dont get back that delete option, how do i delete these images?

You can delete by long press or from computer with USB connected.
