finally got phone back

ok, i finally got my phone back after the screen was fixed, although i think i may have been given a new one because some marks on the case have disappeared but im having a couple of problems lol. i backed up my apps and the play store is showing me that they are there but i cant seem to reinstall them together just one at a time. the other problem is i used to have the contacts displayed by the google ones and this time im trying to just display contacts on the sim card but it doesnt seem to want to let me set a picture for the contact, its just not doing anything. i can set a pic for the google contacts but not the sim ones. any help appreciated

Are you sure the SIM can store photos for contacts? I have doubts.

Is your contact sync in google?
If yes sync it again to your phone and transfer it to your phone memory that probably will work...

Sims have a very limited data capacity, it's much easier to just store contacts via Google.
