So I grew tired of waiting on the Nexus Prime, also a little disappointed that the 4.65" screen isnt really that large as the bottom contains buttons(yes i love a big screen)
So far i am really loving the phone, the bright icons are slowly growing on me (i've had a custom EVO 4G since it came out). The battery is actually lasting as long as the extended did on my EVO (keep in mindI had a lot running on EVO, I think the Go launcher, n texting seemed to eat the battery much quicker)
My first question deals with texting. On HTC's phone you could keep the text notification on the top but switch the privacy mode on so you do not see the actual text scroll across the screen. Last thing I need when showing clients my work is a text from a drunk friend lol...is this posible or do i have to go back to go sms?
Second question, when i save new photos to the phone the phone does not find them in the gallery. I have to first go to the "my files" app and then it seems to refresh.
I am also noticing the reception is much worse than the EVO so far...
all in all, I love this phone much more, the few quirks i can deal with...I was hoping to leave it as is, to extend battery life.
any help appreciated

Battery is bit better than the EVO, I ended up buying an external battery pack from Amazon just so I don't ever have to put my phone down! LOL.
