If people upgraded to 2.3.3 (JVK) before it was pulled, will they be offered this?
Yes bro, they offer it. In fact, I've upgraded mine yesterday. But, after that I lost the Rooted CWM & Superuser, it became slow just slightly faster thas SGS 2.2. So, I reverted back back back to JVK version
.I did try to Root mine using CWM but, it failed!
Can someone advise me how to root this official firmware (from Samsung)?

KIES is showing that the firmware cannot be updated. I have JVK

Don't know if this will be of any use to anyone but for those that are on Three and are waiting for the update through Kies, but on their Twitter (@ThreeUK) they have said that Gingerbread will be out by the end of the month, vague I know, but hopefully no more than 22 days!

This update is only for the XEE Norway customers they got the update before us in the UK with the problems on it was called JVH.
Norway get the updates first as they don't have Networks dictating things there so its easier for Samsung
Now normally we get a week later, the JVK was a mess and had problems manly a call delay and random force closes

By call delay, do you mean if you called somone and they answered, it took 2-3 seconds before they coyld hear you?
I Changed my code to XEE and am on tmobile UK, will this cause any issues?

I used to flash thru' Odin before, that was when my was having Froyo 2.2, applied CWM & Superuser. I successfully updated to new firmware (2.3.3). But, after flashed & applied CWM & Superuser it freezed.
Please assist to re-appliy the lagfix and get it rooted again!

In 2.3.3 JVK issues like buttons are always on while using, force close some times.
I updated to 2.3.3 JVO 6 days back, above two issues are fixed, but battery life is reduced when compared to 2.2.1.
I don't know well 2.2, but I am sure battery life with 2.1 is much lower than 2.3.3. I had 2.3.2, there was several problems because of GPS. Now with 2.3.3, I don't have yet problem, but I don't like buttons are always on while using.
