Root Find msl using alogcat

How do I find msl using logcat on this device? It doesn't seem to work on this device the same as it did on the Sequent... Maybe I'M doing something wrong, Any advice?

I open alogcat and search "code", use dialer to input ##3282# then open alogcat again, but no 6 digit number pops up...

I've tried several other apps from play store to find msl to no success either...

works like a charm! Now ...... anything special about Ports, or the other tab? But thanks Super! Now I have my MSL number!
