finding my way around

hello,
I am new to Android tablets and forums. Is there a way of searching for an answer (in this case an error message) without bothering anyone else?

1. Use forum search (try the error message you get)
2. Use Google (-ll-)
3. Or just ask a question here - it doesnt bother anyone and there will people who are willing to help you. (Provide information as much as possible... what device, android version, which app...)

I agree, but in the reverse order.:)
1 Ask here
2. Use "site:androidforums.com [type your search request here] in Google
3. For searching the site, see #2

But honestly, just ask and someone will happily answer.

thanks for your reply. I will try what you suggested but first how do I put my details by my name as other members do? What is a "carrier" as not everybody fills it in?
