Help finding sim lock

Eh? Not understanding what you're asking. If you put a sim card in and it doesn't prompt for a code and you can see signal bars, its either unlocked or locked to the sim you put in.
 
sorry i dont have a sim that that size at mo and im trying to assertain if its l;ocked to a certain network?
is there a way to find out if it is locked?
 
Older builds if ics you just type *#simlock# on the numeric keypad. No way on newer versions. Sim card Test...

Post the model number of the phone and someone can tell you which service provider it belongs to. Who is your service provider now?
