Fine scratches

Hi All
I have only had my mini pro a couple of days and to my horror even though I have hardly used it ,there are some fine scratches!
I just haven't got around to putting the screen protector yet.
Is there a fix for this kind of screen ?

should I worry ? or maybe just attaching the screen protector would fix it, or should I get rid of the scratches first ? Any advice on the best method for this will be much appreciated

I put my screen protector on after a few days - it doesn't fix the problem but hides it very well. Mine doesn't stick down all that well, perhaps someone can recommend a new screen protector from a 3rd party supplier?

Hi Roxoff
Thanks for your reply. Yeah I have a screen protector that came with the phone from 3 , dont how good it is. The scratches are real fine, dont really know how they happened as I have hardly used the phone and had it only two days . Funny I read a couple of reviews that said the screen was scratch resistant  .
Could I use something like Displex safely on the mini pro screen ?

i have never used displex so couldn't comment but before you do try this. try bit of toothpaste and rub it in with soft cloth then wipe it off. it works on cds sometimes if the scratches aren't too bad. my screens been fine and had it a week so think you must be unlucky. also if you want to clean your screen use contact lense cleaner works a charm on pc'c and tv's too lol

I already use Dsiplex in my xperia mini pro, it's works.

Thanks for you reply
I emailed Displex and they replied "unfortunately this application is not possible..."
So good to hear you were successful :)
Could you tell me what you did ?

Hi

I have had exactly the same problem with my Xperia x10 mini. I managed to fluff putting on the screen protector and ruined it, so I had been trying to just be really careful with my phone, but it already looks to be riddled with fine scratches, which is such a shame.

I have also heard that Displex is not suitable for use on this kind of touch screen so would be interested to hear from more people who have tried it. I'm also a bit worried about toothpaste either making the problem worse or distroying the screen. Anyone tried it on this particular phone or a similar touchscreen?

Thanks!

Ellie
