Help Finger print scanner problem

I got the phone when it came out and haven't had an issue or complaint yet. But today my fingerprint scanner decides not to work. I reset the phone because that usually does the trick, but not this time. I yanked the battery, tried to reprogram my fingerprints and nothing. It's not even recognizing that I'm swiping either finger; ie I'm not getting the swiping too fast error or what not. Any suggestions or is my scanner kaput?

same here. got it a week back. may be a bad bug in the new versions

Figured it out. I did a google search for the problem and saw on another forum that it could be a conflict with an app. I had installed WUSA Radar yesterday, so when I uninstalled it the scanner started to work again (after a reboot).
