That's the thing about touchscreens..fingerprints galore. What I need is a matte screen protector so they don't show up so badly..
Right now since the screen is glass and I am babying the phone until I get a real case I have no screen protector on it. I use Electronic cleaning cloths on the whole phone.

Keep and eye out for a company named Power Support, they make AWESOME smudge/fingerprint/oil proof screen protectors. I'm italian and have oily skin, so on my G1 I got one of the PS films and it works wonders. Only thing about them is they give the screen these weird dots, but they only show up under certain colors. They don't mess with anything and it is still totally viewable, you will forget they are even there after a few days.
Also I have noticed my Clear Freak 3M shield is doing a good job at stopping prints, Zagg's do too.

If I want to wipe it off, I use a lens cloth or a normal small microfiber cloth (one used to clean LCD/Plasma TV's works great)!
