Firefox 4 beta 3 in Market

I think that Only newer Android phone with Higher New End processors can run the browser..I couldn't run it on a Mytouch 3G....

Yeah it's slow even on my Galaxy S. I loaded ninemsn.com.au and it chugs away using 48mb of ram. Took way too long to load. Can't ask much from a Beta.

Dolphin Browser HD kicks butt at the moment. Love the fact that you can select it to always load a page as it if it was your desktop. So handy when good sites revert to mobile friendly ones!

Works for crap on Moto Droid. It works OK on the Droid X (for the whole 10ish minutes I got to play around with it). I really hope that they get the problems ironed out soon. I would love to replace Dolphin. I still prefer Dolphin to Dolphin HD currently though. For some stupid reason Dolphin HD removed the long-press rosette, which I found insanely useful. That rosette is the sort of thing I'd like to see an extension made for Firefox when it's stable. If Dolphin HD had the rosette, and hadn't removed features only to have them added as add-ons, I'd use it over Dolphin.

I really want to ditch Dolphin... but I'm stuck with it until Firefox is viable.

Just downloaded to test out on my Desire, as I have FF on both my Mac and my office PC.

Decided to move it to the SD card, but found that it just would not load up! Moved it back and started ok. Will see how it goes over the next few days.

I checked in the market and it's not showing.
I went to the site via browser on my phone and I also scanned the qr code
and keep getting a Not Found message.
Anyone else have any luck?
I have an Epic 4G

Firefox 4 beta 3 for Android hands on: Mozilla browser hits the Market

Just came here to post the same thing.

For those of you who have it, where are you getting it from? I can't find it in the market or on App Brain...and I have the same issue with the QR code saying "not found".

Please share where you're finding this!

Thanks :)

Tried it on my Droid X, and uninstalled it within a few minutes. Still needs some work. It had my whole phone buggy with screen flickering, kept connecting & disconnecting to the network, slow loading pages and a couple more things.
It shows promise, but needs some more work into it.

It is seriously lacking features. Maybe after some updates it will get there. Also needs option for user agent. I do not like mobile versions of sites at all. I love FF on my home computer. I want it to work like that!

For the love of all that is holy can someone please post a link or something as to where this can be found? It is *not* in the market or anyplace else that I can find.

Thank you!

I got it on the market. Search for Firefox. It came up as Mozilla Firefox web browser, and when you go into it, it says Firefox 4 b3

Market pages look like this

Yeah, seriously! WTF? Does anyone else see the same as me?

Yes, I do. Running Desire, 2.2, software version 2.13

Installed yesterday, works really well on WiFi, but awfully slow on mobile wap access.
